Emma Roddick MSP appointed Co-Convener of LGBTQI+ Cross-Party Group

Emma Roddick, the first openly LGBTQI+ MSP for the Highlands and Islands, has been appointed co-convener of the LGBTQI+ Cross Party Group in the Scottish Parliament alongside Conservative MSP Jamie Greene. Islands MSP supports Orkney’s first Pride march

Following Orkney Pride celebrations on 26th June, organisers have shared an interview with Emma Roddick MSP, the island’s only out Parliamentarian. Roddick had said she was “delighted” to be taking part in the march, a first for the island, after a year of COVID restrictions prevented them from taking place in 2020.
