About Emma

Emma Roddick has served as your MSP for the Highlands & Islands since 2021, standing up for local people on the issues that matter most, from healthcare to housing. Now she is ready to fight for Inverness & Nairn, bringing her experience, determination and local roots to deliver for our communities.

Housing

Having experience of homelessness, Emma’s top priority has always been housing, from providing direct support to increasing landlord accountability.

Cost of Living

Emma is acutely aware of the impact of poverty and the high cost of living. She works hard to support people to access benefits and campaigns for social justice.

Health & Care

No one should have to travel miles for the care they need. Emma is fighting for stronger local services, better mental health support and fair access to healthcare.
