Emma Roddick MSP has welcomed the news that over 800 people have subscribed to the official A9 Dualling website. The milestone, confirmed by the Scottish Government, highlights the strong public interest in the crucial infrastructure project, but the SNP MSP suspects more people would be interested in signing up.
The website, a direct result of advocacy by MSPs, including Ms Roddick, provides regular, transparent, and comprehensive updates on the dualling programme. Subscribers to the website receive these updates directly, ensuring they are kept informed of the project’s progress.
Emma said:
“I’m delighted to see so many people engaging with the A9 Dualling website.
“This level of subscription demonstrates the importance of this project to communities across the Highlands and Islands. It’s vital that people have access to accurate and timely information, and the website provides a valuable resource. 825 is a lot of people, but I suspect there may be others out there who would appreciate the opportunity to sign up, so I have been making sure to share it around.
“I encourage everyone with an interest in the A9 dualling to visit the website and subscribe for updates. It’s a great way to stay informed about progress.
“As always, my door is also open to constituents who have questions or concerns. I attend regular meetings on the A9 dualling project and frequently raise queries on behalf of people who’ve been in touch, covering issues such as timescales, consultations, and the interim safety measures. I’m here to help ensure all these important voices are heard.”
