ONE WEEK TO GO UNTIL EMMA RODDICK MSP’S COST OF LIVING EVENT

Emma Roddick MSP invites constituents to a Cost of Living Support Event offering advice and assistance from a range of local organisations.

It is now just one week until Emma hosts her Cost of Living Support Event in Inverness.

The event, which will be held on the 28th of August at the Spectrum Centre, will see organisations in attendance to help with issues such as housing, energy, benefit applications, and mental health support.

It is designed as a drop-in event, with members of the public able to meet organisations between 13:00-16:00 to ask for more advice or simply meet members of local teams.

Speaking on the upcoming event, Emma said:

“With just one week to go until I host my Cost of Living Support Event, I am really excited for organisations from across Inverness to come together and show folk the invaluable support is available to them locally.

“Throughout summer I have been travelling across the region, and I have been hearing just how worried folk are about the current climate. There has never been a more important time to come together and let people know that it is okay to reach out for help, and there are so many organisations out there who care so deeply about supporting their community.

“I hope that people feel able to come along to the event next week, whether they are really struggling at the minute or they’d just like to meet the people behind these brilliant organisations.”
